NMADR.ORG was created in 2012 by David Levin as an online resource to support Alternative Dispute Resolution in New Mexico.  The site was initially designed to support the work of Statewide ADR Commission, New Mexico Supreme Court, pending the creation of a dedicated site for the Commission within the New Mexico Judicial Website.  Today, NMADR.ORG provides a resource for the public, programs, and providers regarding Alternative Dispute Resolution.

DAVID LEVIN graduated from the School of Law, University of New Mexico, in 1977, and has been a trained mediator since 1987. David began his legal career as a civil litigator and general practitioner, later becoming an “AV” rated Board Recognized Specialist in Family Law. David became Director of Court Alternatives, Second Judicial District Court, State of New Mexico, in 2002, and State Project Manager, Mediation Program, Magistrate Division, Administrative Office of the Courts in 2013-2016. David was Chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee, New Mexico State Bar from 2004 to 2014.  David was Chair of the Statewide Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission, New Mexico Supreme Court from 2011 to 2017.  David helped pioneer attorney/psychologist co-mediation services in New Mexico, co-founding Sandia Mediation and Family Mediation, Ltd., and was a founding board member of the New Mexico Mediation Association.  David was a lead expert witness for the New Mexico Legislature on the Mediation Procedures Act.  David has taught basic, family, magistrate court, and advanced mediation, as well as settlement facilitation.  David is an active mediator and trainer.
